Now it is that easy! Introducing DropBox a DNN 3 module that allows users (that you grant permissions to) the ability to upload files to directories you specify on your DNN portal.
Just install the PA and grant the rights to the user groups you want to allow uploads for under the Admin > File Manager menu.
No Core modifications needed!
Database independant! Works with all DB's!
Permissions can be set to View or Write independently for all subfolders.
Notes:
Root folder needs permissions granted to all groups that will have access to subfolders of the root folder. This is a DNN setting that cannot be over ridden without modifying the core.
